Concept of Connected Home

In the last few years of the 20th Century, the technology revolution has reached home. The advent of the Home PC era has changed how we work and live. The growth and proliferation of Internet is further enabling a new connected life style. The interconnection of devices such as audio visual equipment, entertainment, security, kitchen appliances, health monitoring and telephone systems lead to the concept of "Connected Home". The rapid growth of broadband, emergence of network-enabled devices, emergence of in-house local networks and a move to service-driven networks such as pay-per-view, and use of mobile phone to remotely access home security have spurred the growth of a "Connected Home".

Brief History ofthe Company

The company started focusing on the idea of a "Connected Home" in 1997. Idea generation, refinement, product plan formulation and evaluation of design strategies were carried out in the years 1997-98. Advanced Comfort Electronic Systems Private Limited (ACES) was officially incorporated in 1999 with the goal of developing advanced electronic comfort solutions for the 21st Century "Connected Homes". The Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters is located in Chennai, India. The Company aims to become a global leader in providing comfort products and solutions for the Connected Home. The Company has a strong R&D team with a focus on developing innovative, value added technology solutions for the 21st century home.

Partners and Products

ACES has a network of Manufacturing Partners in US, Australia, Taiwan, India and China. This Partner network of ACES complements and strengthens the company's efforts in providing a total solution to its customers. ACES HomeNet and ACES Home Controls are the two major product divisions of the Company. ACES HomeNet provides intelligent infrastructure for a Connected Home. ACES Home Control provides anytime anywhere control of home appliances and devices.
